Proverbs 8:36 but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.
When wisdom calls, often I hear. When she cries out she gets my attention, but I am weak. You light my way like a night runway for a pilot. Your direction is like billboards on the interstate highways, but I am stubborn. Father, the truth is I need your strength. The back-road, the familiar shortcut offers fast food and instant gratification. Your ways lead me to eternal satisfaction and everlasting joy. Help me Father to starve my flesh from the lust and pride that it desires. Help me Father to hunger and thirst for your wisdom and to drink from her bitter cup in Jesus name. Amen
