Review of Mark Batterson’s Draw the Circle.

Draw the Circle picks up where The Circle Maker leaves off. The Circle Maker teaches the principle of being consistent and fervent in prayer.  Draw the Circle seeks to help the reader develop the practice of prayer.  Written to supplement a 40 day challenge to pray outrageous prayers, or “Big Hairy” prayers, as Batterson puts it, the book was written to be used as a daily prayer booster of sorts.  Each chapter uses a scripture reference, a testimony, or a story to encourage you to pray and remind you that “God will not answer a hundred percent of the prayers you don’t pray” as the author so poetically puts it.

Having read both books, I strongly suggest reading The Circle Maker to get the principles that this book encourages you to practice.
